Here are 10 Dallas-area players to watch during Week 3 of the 2023 Texas high school football season. Triston Gooch, WR, Rockwall In his first season in the varsity rotation, Gooch had a standout performance in the narrow 60-59 loss to Jesuit where his opponent scored a game-winning touchdown and go-ahead two point conversion with 22 seconds left. Gooch led all receivers with 275 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 25 yards per catch. He also had three catches for 31 yards and a score in the Week 1 victory over Cedar Hill.
